Neighbor to Neighbor

Dear Neighbors,

Welcome to our new website!  We have been working on some new technology so we can bring you the latest information as quickly as possible.  We appreciate your patience while we got everything together for you.

First, we have changed our meeting location so we now meet at City Church Tharpe Street (fka Forest Heights Baptist Church) which is located at 1200 West Tharpe Street.  Come join our quarterly meetings!  The next meeting will be on October 28, 2014 at 6:30 pm.  The meetings are only one hour long and agendas are sent the week before so you can see who the guest speaker will be.  If you are not currently receiving news from the Association via email, be sure to email your contact information to fhhhna@gmail.com to be added to our email list.

Second, we also have a new app for our neighbors to use.  Take a moment to join us online by getting the Nextdoor App (or just using it on your computer).  The Tallahassee Police Department let us know about this great little app for our neighborhood.  You may download it for iPhones or Android phone or use it on your tablets and computers.  Not only can we use it to send urgent messages about weather or crime, we can also post our meeting information and materials, announce items of local interest such as yard sales, free curb giveaways, local recommendations, or even just to meet your neighbors.  You can add as much information or as little as you want. Please take a moment to check out this app and join our online neighborhood so you are connected!  https://nextdoor.com/invite/bkhvuhqzyyqskpguurhp

Three (see, I know you were looking for Third!), that is the number of open At Large Board spots we currently have and need to fill.  There are currently just four of us on the Board trying to keep the Association moving along and we would love for others to join us so we could do more in the neighborhood.  This year we have focused our efforts on bringing new technology to you so we can stay connected.  We have a Facebook page, an app, and a NEW and improved website.  We make it easy to join in many ways!

Thank you all for your continued support of our beautiful neighborhood.  Be sure to mark your calendars and come out to see us on October 28th at City Church Tharpe Street.  We will be there and we will have refreshments!  🙂  Hope to see you there as well – Becky
